Amazonite is mostly opaque, green sodium feldspar.  It is found primarily in Colorado, Brazil, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Namibia & Russia.  Some legend tells us of its use as a "Hope Stone".  Perhaps because it's very color is that of the Spring sky that it  inspires faith & hope.  It can offer to you additional strength in handling your day to day stresses.

 Aventurine ( also known as "indian Jade" is green, blue or red.  It is found in India, Canada, Madagascar, Norway, Russia ( Siberia) & the US.  The ancient Tibetans used aventurine in the eyes of their statues to symbolically increase visionary powers.  So you might use aventurine as an opportunity stone to increase your perception.  It can also work as a gambler's stone for luck in games of chance.

 I use both amazonite & aventurine in my Signature Collection as it relates to eye colors, both blue & green.
