Mother of pearl faceted in the shapes of squares and circles accented by small cubes of purple amethyst with a large oval mother of pearl disk attached to the removable sterling silver and amethyst pendant. The circular sterling silver pendant has a design encircling a round faceted light purple amethyst gemstone. The large mother of pearl disk can also be detached from the pendant for a completely different style. This necklace is uniquely designed in several ways. The necklace becomes very versatile with the removable pendant—three different necklaces in one. The flat, faceted mother of pearl beads are strung in two strands between the small cubes of purple amethyst. The cubes tie the two strands together at short intervals to break up the continuious color of the white mother of pearl beads creating a fuller one strand affect. For the clasp, the designer chose a sterling silver round box clasp that is topped with a purple amethyst cabochon that is surrounded by a dotted bead pattern. The pendant gives the necklace a nice touch of elegance. It offers a quick change from simple to sophistication.
